Šťastná Samota
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF GUESTS
Guests have the right to use the premises reserved for accommodation and the outdoor areas of Šťastná Samota, including its equipment and facilities, and to use the services related thereto.
Guests are obliged to protect the equipment and facilities of Šťastná Samota against damage.
Guests are obliged to ensure safe operation of the equipment and facilities at Šťastná Samota and to follow the instructions for their use.
Šťastná Samota is handed over without any defects. If the Guest discovers any defect or malfunction during his/her stay, he/she is obliged to report such fact to the Accommodation Provider without delay.
Guests are obliged to maintain cleanliness in the premises of Šťastná Samota.
The maximum number of Guests staying at Šťastná Samota is 16. This does not include children under 6 years of age sleeping in the same bed as their parents or in a cot. This restriction applies to all indoor and outdoor areas of Šťastná Samota. Exceeding the maximum number of Guests stated above entitles the Accommodation Provider to charge the Customer a contractual penalty of 50 % of the total price for accommodation.
Guests are obliged to ensure that beds and sofas are protected from soiling by children who are not yet able to maintain personal hygiene or pets.
Guests are not allowed to move any furniture and equipment or make any interference with the electrical network and equipment located in Šťastná Samota. For safety reasons, Guests may only use electrical appliances owned by Šťastná Samota and those used for their personal hygiene (hair dryers, shavers, etc.), as well as laptops, tablets, mobile phones and similar small electrical appliances.
Smoking is strictly forbidden in all indoor areas of Šťastná Samota. Violation of this regulation and smoking in the rooms or indoor areas of Šťastná Samota entitles the Accommodation Provider to charge the Customer a contractual penalty of CZK 20,000 in connection with the extraordinary cleaning. Smoking is only allowed outdoors in designated areas with ashtrays. The disposal of cigarette butts outside the ashtrays located in the designated areas is strictly prohibited.
In all indoor areas of Šťastná Samota, with the exception of the fireplace, there is a strict ban on handling open flames.
GROSS VIOLATION OF THE ACCOMMODATION REGULATIONS
The use of the premises reserved for accommodation and the outdoor areas of Šťastná Samota for the purpose of organizing a social event (such as a wedding, corporate event, celebration, etc.) is possible only with the explicit consent of the Accommodation Provider and a separate contract with the Accommodation Provider. Violation of this provision entitles the Accommodation Provider to charge the Customer a contractual penalty of CZK 100,000.
The use of the outdoor areas of Šťastná Samota for camping or the use of caravans or motorhomes on the premises of Šťastná Samota is prohibited. Violation of this prohibition entitles the Accommodation Provider to charge the Customer a contractual penalty of CZK 100,000.
There is a strict ban on fireworks and the use of fireworks in Šťastná Samota. Violation of this regulation entitles the Accommodation Provider to charge the Customer a contractual penalty of CZK 100,000. In addition, the organisation of fireworks and the use of pyrotechnics are subject to applicable laws and regulations of national, regional or local authorities.
Guests are required to observe the nightly quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
No racist, violent, xenophobic, obscene or otherwise illegal behaviour of any kind is permitted within the accommodation at Šťastná Samota.
The use of Šťastná Samota for political, propaganda or religious purposes without the consent of the Accommodation Provider is not allowed.
It is not allowed to list the address of Šťastná Samota as your place of business or residence.
The making of any audiovisual recordings of Šťastná Samota for commercial purposes is not permitted without the consent of the Accommodation Provider.
KEYS AND LOCKING
On arrival, Guests will collect two sets of keys, which they will find in the security box at the main entrance gate to Šťastná Samota. Each set includes a master key that unlocks the entrances to the common room, conservatory, top gate and both entrance gates and a remote control that opens the main entrance gate and garage.
Guests are obliged to close the entrance gates, garage doors and lock all entrance doors to the buildings even when leaving Šťastná Samota for a short time. Guests are required to close the garage door whenever they are not present in the garage. Šťastná Samota is a safe place, however, it is recommended to close driveway gates, garage doors and lock all gates and entrance doors to buildings at night.
Guests are obliged to prevent the loss of keys, to secure them against theft, to avoid lending keys to persons who are not staying at Šťastná Samota and to immediately report the loss or misuse of the keys to Šťastná Samota to the Accommodation Provider. In the event of loss of the set of keys, the Customer will be required to pay CZK 1,500. This does not affect the right of the Accommodation Provider to claim compensation for damages.
HEATING
Heating and hot water preparation at Šťastná Samota are controlled automatically by the smart home system. A basic optimum temperature is set for each room. Guests can adjust the temperature in each individual room to their preference within a range of ± 3 °C via a tablet located on the kitchen counter. In order to save energy, the heating in the room is switched off when the window or door is open.
CHILDREN
For the smallest children, there is a cot with complete bedding, a baby seat, steps, a bath and a potty.
PETS
Accommodation of pets is possible after prior notification to the Accommodation Provider. There is one dog bed and bowls in the common room. Pets are not allowed in beds or on upholstered furniture. It is the Guest’s responsibility to clean up after their four-legged pets.
CAR PARKING
Parking of motor vehicles is possible in the garage and on the parking area in front of it. Parking of motor vehicles outside these areas, e.g. on grassy areas, is not permitted. Parking is free.
ELECTROMOBILITY
Guests can charge their electric vehicles via the wallbox in the garage for a fee. Charging vehicles in any other way is not permitted.
Guests can charge their e-bikes free of charge in the garage.
GAMES
A table tennis table and other games for Guests‘ use are located in the garage. A table football is available for Guests in the upstairs common room. Board and card games are stored in the common room library. Guests are obliged to use the games in such a way as to avoid damage or destruction.
COMMON ROOM
In the common room, the kitchen, dining room and two living areas are connected. One of them is purely relaxing with a library with a fireplace. The second living area is located upstairs and features a table football, large screen TV and music system.
It is recommended to close the internal door between the living room and the conservatory. A conservatory by its very nature acts like a greenhouse, this manifests itself in an increased internal temperature during sunny days and cold during the winter months. The temperature in the conservatory can be lowered by opening the doors and skylights, which are controlled electronically by a switch. In case of rain, the windows close automatically.
KITCHEN
In the common room, guests have a well-equipped kitchen (induction hob, wok panel, steam oven with grill, microwave, dish warmer, two fridges with freezer, dishwasher) and a Nespresso coffee machine. The kitchen includes all the usual small household appliances and kitchen utensils (kettle, blender, vegetable slicer, smoothie blender, etc.), crockery, cutlery, etc. Dishwasher tablets are located under the sink.
LAUNDRY
Guests can use the washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board in the separate area of the common room. Washing machine tablets are located under the sink.
ROOM SERVICE
Beds are clean linen on arrival. The bathrooms are equipped with towels, bath amenities and hairdryers.
CLEANING
Šťastná Samota is handed over to the Guests upon arrival tidy. After the departure of the Guests, standard cleaning is provided. Basic cleaning tools and equipment are available in the common room for self cleaning. Cleaning during the stay can be arranged upon request for an additional fee of CZK 5,000.
Outdoor maintenance of the outdoor areas of Šťastná Samota from snow and ice is not provided by the Accommodation Provider. The Accommodation Provider is not liable for any damage to the Guests in this connection.
INTERNET
Free Wi-Fi is available in all indoor areas of Šťastná Samota.
COMPUTER
In the common room, guests have access to a computer with a printer connected to the internet. The Guest is not authorized to install any software on the computer, nor to change the software or software settings that are installed on the computer. Guests must not introduce computer viruses and similar algorithms into or through the computer to the Internet. The guest must not contribute in any way to the dissemination of legally actionable information via the Internet. The guest must not abuse the system for unauthorized access to other information resources. The Accommodation Provider is not responsible for the functionality of telecommunication circuits or the accessibility of parts of the Internet outside the local network and for the content of information published via the Internet.
FIREPLACE
The use of the fireplace is allowed according to separate instructions. Guests are obliged to take care when using the fireplace when working with fire and hot objects. The wood is located behind the barn, the kindling is located next to the fireplace. Storage of hot ashes in any indoor area or near combustible objects and Šťastná Samota trees is strictly prohibited. The cooled ash should be placed in a marked metal container next to the garage.
BARBECUE AND FIRE PIT
Šťastná Samota offers two outdoor cooking options, a gas barbecue and a fire pit. The use of the grill is allowed according to separate instructions. When barbecuing, Guests are obliged to take care when working with fire and hot objects. Wood is located behind the barn, spare gas container and barbecue tools are located in the garage. Storage of hot ashes in any indoor area or near combustible objects and Šťastná Samota trees is strictly prohibited. The cooled ash should be placed in a metal container next to the garage. It is strictly forbidden to build a fire outside the fire pit or to move the grill to other than the designated places.
GARDEN
Guests are obliged to be respectful of the greenery in the garden. Entering the flower beds is not allowed. The garden is automatically irrigated from spring to autumn. The night lighting in the garden switches on automatically.
WASTE
Waste is sorted in Šťastná Samota. In the common room there are separate bins for municipal waste (under the kitchen sink) and plastic and paper (next to the kitchen sink). There are bins for municipal waste in the accommodation area. Disposable bin bags are located under the kitchen sink.
For hygienic reasons, guests are obliged to take out the municipal waste regularly and at the end of their stay to the container located at the turn-off to the unpaved road leading to Šťastná Samota (by the Kamenný rybník pond).
Paper and plastic waste must be placed in colour-coded bins in the garage.
The ashes (must be cooled) are placed in a marked metal container next to the garage.
DEPARTURE OF GUESTS
Guests are required to put all equipment back in its original place on the day of the end of their stay before departure, wash dishes, cutlery and other kitchen equipment and put them back in the kitchen, remove all food from the kitchen, fridges and freezers and remove waste as instructed above.
Guests are also required to turn off all appliances, close water taps, turn off all lights, close all windows, lock all entrance doors, gates, close garage doors and gates, and place keys in the box located at the entrance gate.
